The 22nd Annual Taste and Tour will kick off this afternoon in downtown Indiana.
Taste and Tour is a fundraiser event put on by Downtown Indiana, Inc. in partnership with First Commonwealth Bank. The event will take tourists up and down Philadelphia Street, sampling food and drinks from various restaurants. In an interview on Indiana in the Morning, Sam Kenley with Downtown Indiana, Inc. said that the tour isn’t just limited to businesses that fall on the main drag.
Following the tour, there will be an after party with coffee, lemonade, and baked goods. Tourists will also have the chance to vote for their favorite drink, sweet treat, and the overall best dish.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $30. Registration begins at 4:30 pm today at the First Commonwealth Bank offices at the old courthouse, with the tour starting at 5 and the after party at 8.
