Homer City Legion Post 493 dropped a tough game to Unity Legion, 5-4, last night at First Commonwealth Bank Field. The Bulldogs scored three runs in the sixth to overcome a 3-2 deficit and held off a Bearcats rally in the seventh.
Connor James had two of Homer City’s five hits, including a double. Devlan Kordish struck out seven Unity batters in four-and-a-third innings.
Post 493 is 8-7 and will play at Latrobe today.
