Last night, the Purchase Line School Board approved the 2025-26 budget that does not contain a tax increase.
Expenditures top out at $22,430,272 and it contained a $706,398 shortfall, which will be filled by using a portion of the district’s fund balance. Taxes will remain at 9.24 mills in Indiana County and 42.84 for Clearfield County taxpayers. Superintendent Patricia Berezansky said they held the line on taxes as they have increased over the last few years.
No programs were cut.
The board also approved a roof replacement project for three sections, to be completed by TMR Roofing at a cost of $706,450.
The next meeting of the board will be August 11th.
