First responders were kept busy yesterday evening into today with multiple calls for service, including one for a structure fire.
The fire was reported at 3:23 pm along east 9th street in Center Township. Homer City, Black Lick, Coral Graceton, Brush Valley and Blairsville fire departments, TEAM 900, and Citizens EMS were all dispatched.
A vehicle accident was also reported yesterday at 6:17 on Route 56 East. That called out Homer City fire crews and state police.
A vehicle fire was reported at 8:58 this morning on Route 286 West in Young Township. Coal run / McIntyre and Iselin / West Lebanon fire departments responded to that call.
Also reported this morning was a structure fire along Barr Slope Road in Green Township at 9:37. Commodore, Marion Center and Clymer fire fighters were dispatched, along with Cambria County RIT & Citizens Ambulance. Officials say that the insulation in a trailer caught fire and spread. Most of the structure was damaged by the fire, but no one was injured. The American Red Cross is assisting the family, and crews were on scene for about two hours.
No details on the other incidents have been released.
