Emergency crews responded to a pair of calls last night and this morning, including a reported structure fire.
The fire was reported at 7:47 pm along Route 56 East in Brush Valley Township. That call sent out Brush Valley, Coral Graceton, Armagh/East Wheatfield, and Homer City fire crews as well as TEAM 900 and Citizen’s ambulance. According to officials, when they arrived on scene the fire turned out to be a controlled burn of an old structure. The fire did not spread, and no one was hurt. Crews were on scene for about ten minutes.
A vehicle accident was reported this morning at 6:08 in Burrell Township. Blacklick and Blairsville firefighters, along with Citizens and state police responded to the call. Officials say that a car crashed into the back of a truck. The car was towed and no one was hurt. Crews were on scene for about two hours.
