The Jimmy Stewart Airport’s hangar construction project is on the proposed agenda for today’s Indiana County Commissioners meeting.
The 100 by 120 foot hangar will be able to house not only a plane, but a pilot’s office, storage room, janitor’s closet, breakroom, MEP room, bathroom with shower, conference room and other amenities. Earlier this month, the construction contracts were awarded. On the agenda for today are a stormwater management agreement with White Township and a waterline relocation agreement with the Indiana Municipal Services Authority.
The Commissioners will also consider a proclamation for child welfare service providers appreciation week.
The meeting starts at 10:30 this morning at the Commissioners meeting room on the second floor of the courthouse.
