ROAD CLOSURES IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTSYLVANIA JAZZ, BLUES AND ARTS FESTIVAL

Today is the continuation of a Memorial Day tradition with the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival in Downtown Indiana.

This year’s event has been expanded to include an arts show along a portion of Philadelphia Street in addition to the music on the festival’s main stage.  This includes juried visual arts booths, an open arts exhibition with awards given out, and hands-on workshops and events.  Because of the festival, there will be some road closures in town today.

Starting at 10:00 this morning, Philadelphia Street from 7^th to 9^th Streets will be closed, along with 8^th Street from Gompers Avenue to Nixon Avenue and North 7^th Street in the area of IRMC Park.  The closures will remain in effect until 9:00 tonight.
