The District 6 Class A baseball semifinals today feature two games on Renda Digital TV. First pitch is at one o’clock from First Commonwealth Bank Field when number two seed Homer-Center takes on number three Blacklick Valley. At Central Cambria, top seed Northern Cambria meets fourth seed Juniata Valley at four o’clock.
Airtime for Homer-Center/Blacklick Valley is 12:45, presented by Homer City Legion Post 493.
Airtime for Northern Cambria/Juniata Valley is 3:45, presented by Smith Coal & Oil and Cambria Ready-Mix Concrete.
The District 6 championship game will be on Wednesday.
SOFTBALL
In Class A, Claysburg-Kimmel’s freshman Isabella Paris fired a one-hitter and the Bulldogs shut down Purchase Line, 1o-0. In the other semifinal, Juniata Valley/Conemaugh Valley was postponed to tonight at 6 PM.
In AAA, Marion Center’s semifinal game at Bald Eagle Area was postponed to this afternoon at 4 o’clock.
