A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for a Derry man charged with trying to transport drugs through Indiana County.
Last week, Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi announced the arrest of 59-year-old Todd Stumpf on charges related to an investigation by the Indiana County Drug Task Force. On May 15th, members of the task force along with police from Indiana and Blairsville Boroughs, the state police K9 unit and the county detective bureau caught Stumpf as he was taking about two pounds of meth through Indiana County into Westmoreland County.
He has been in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond. The hearing will be this morning before District Judge Robert Bell, Sr.
