The River Valley School Board will meet tonight and next year’s tentative budget is on the agenda.
The budget’s expenditures come to $36,719,961, with total revenue coming to $35,681,183. No word yet on how they plan to fill the funding gap.
The board will also look at hiring Tiara Stossel and Geoff Dixon as the two co-athletic directors along with assistant coaches for football, varsity golf, volleyball, girls and boys basketball, cheerleading and others. Also on the agenda is the district’s calendar for next year, which will continue to use the early dismissal program on Fridays. Under the proposed calendar, school would start on August 20th and end May 29th.
The meeting starts at 7:00 at the River Valley High School Auditorium.
