Former Penguins forward and assistant coach Rick Tocchet has been named the new head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers, another team for whom he played in his NHL career.
According to David Pagnotta of TheFourthPeriod.com, the Penguins have talked with Capitals assistant Mitch Love and Kings assistant D.J. Smith about their head coaching job.
