From IRMC
IRMC is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the union representing our nurses, which supports our workforce and will enable us to continue our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our community.
The new, three-year agreement with IRNA/PASNAP maintains our commitment to fiscal responsibility, continues our long-term commitment to providing market-competitive compensation and benefits to our valued team members, and includes new opportunities for greater collaboration between management and staff to ensure safe and effective patient care.
We are all on the same team, with the same goal of improving the health of our patients and the community. With that shared goal in mind, we believe this contract places us in a strong position to continue to compete for nursing talent during this historic and ongoing national nursing shortage. We have successfully recruited over 60 nurses in the past year, and our nurse vacancy rate is lower than the national average. IRMC is a great place to work and build a career. We hope our nurses will help us continue to recruit the best and brightest health care workers to Indiana County.
At IRMC, we are proud to deliver high-quality, safe and compassionate care to our community, and we believe this contract will allow us to continue our mission of serving the healthcare needs of our community – today and for years to come.
