The United School Board will meet tonight and will look to approve the 2025-26 budget for advertisement.
The proposed budget comes to at $25,044,756 and carries with it a deficit of $840,331. The proposed tax rate of 11.156 mills contains no increases. Upon approval, the proposed budget will be put up for public review.
The board will also look at a resolution for contracts with the district concerning the prorating of payments to providers if the full service is not completed. Also on tonight’s agenda are the hiring of an English-Language Arts teacher and two homebound instructors.
The meeting will start at 7:30 tonight in the district board room.
