A successful opening to the WPIAL Quad-A playoffs for Indiana, with a 3-2 win over Uniontown.
Indiana scored a run in the second inning and two in the fourth, then held off the Red Raiders rally in the fifth. Anna Carnavale had two hits and drove in a run, Maggie Cunningham singled in a run and Sophia Boyer also had an RBI. Samantha Martin struck out twelve for the Indians, who will play top seed Hampton in the quarterfinal round, date and site to be determined.
