Rite Aid customers have just a few weeks left to redeem their gift cards, coupons, and rewards points before they lose their value.
Attorney General Dave Sunday is urging consumers to act fast, following Rite Aid’s recent bankruptcy filing. Rite Aid has announced it will no longer accept returns or exchanges after June 4. Gift cards and rewards points will stop being honored after June 6. The announcement comes after New Rite Aid filed for bankruptcy in federal court in New Jersey on May 5. Customers still hoping to make returns will need to follow Rite Aid’s current refund and exchange policies.
If you run into trouble redeeming your rewards or returning items, the Attorney General’s office is asking consumers to file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection online or call the Consumer Protection Hotline at 1-800-441-2555.
