Indiana University of Pennsylvania will host spring commencement ceremonies today.
As there will be a lot of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the KCAC, the university is asking guests to arrive early. Three ceremonies are on the schedule for today, with the College of Health Sciences and University College set for 8:30, the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and College of Education and Human Services at 12:30 and the ceremonies at 3:30 will feature graduates from the College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs and Eberly College of Business. Doors will open one hour before the start of the ceremonies.
For the 8:30 and 3:30 ceremonies, parking will be available at the KCAC parking areas between the arena and Miller Stadium. Drivers will need to use South 11th Street to park in the lot. Pratt Drive off Wayne Avenue will be closed to all traffic except for guests at the Hilton Garden Hotel and for special event permit holders. Pratt Drive will also be closed to all traffic at the entrance to Pratt Studio Apartments. There will be no parking access for any ceremony off Wayne Avenue at Pratt Drive or from Maple Street at Pratt Drive. For the 12:30 ceremony, there will be no parking at the KCAC. All parking will be in the Robertshaw paved parking lot and South Campus parking lot, with the university providing shuttles to and from the arena. ADA spaces will be in the Robertshaw lot.
IUP is providing a text network for people to receive updates on the ceremonies by texting IUPMAYGRAD25 to 888-777. Those unable to attend can watch the ceremonies on the IUP Youtube channel.
