State police will be conducting free checks of kid’s car seats next week.
As part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Click It or Ticket” campaign, Pennsylvania State Police troopers certified as Child Passenger Safety Technicians will conduct a free child passenger safety seat check in Indiana on May 13th. Parents and caregivers can have their car seat(s) checked for suitability. Troopers will also offer guidance in proper car seat installation and harnessing of children in car seats. Checks will be done at the Indiana Fire Association on Indian Springs Road from 2pm to 7:30pm. Appointments are not required.
