The consultant reviewing security measures for the Governors residence in Harrisburg has said that the results will not be made public.
Retired State Police Colonel Jeffrey Miller said the findings are of a sensitive nature and for obvious reasons, that information will not be released. He and a team were assigned to investigate security measures after the Governor’s mansion was fire-bombed on April 13th, hours after Governor Josh Shapiro celebrated Passover. Cody Balmer is accused of climbing over a seven foot tall fence, hiding from authorities, breaking into the house and using homemade Molotov Cocktails to set fire to the building. No injuries were reported.
In a contract filed with the state, Miller and his firm were hired to assess the security at the residence. Miller said after the investigation wrapped up that if implemented, the key recommendations in his report will prevent such an attack from succeeding in the future.
