BASEBALL
Peyton Johnson was 4-for-4 to lead IUP to an 11-5 win over Gannon in the first game of a doubleheader in Erie yesterday. The win clinched a PSAC playoff spot for the Crimson Hawks. They lost the storm-shortened second game 7-4.
SOFTBALL
In softball, Kutztown scored two in the bottom of the seventh to walk off IUP in a PSAC playoff elimination.
TENNIS
IUP goes for its fifth straight PSAC women’s tennis championship starting today in Bloomsburg. They’ll play number two East Stroudsburg today at 10 AM , with the winner to play the other semifinal winner, either Bloomsburg or Slippery Rock. The championship game is scheduled for 4 o’clock this afternoon.
