Hunter Barco threw three more scoreless innings yesterday in the Altoona Curve’s 4-1 win at Chesapeake, and he still has not been scored upon this season, setting a Curve record with 20-and-two-thirds shutout innings in a row to start a season. The overall Curve record is 25-and-a-third innings, set by Jared Lakind in 2016.
Termarr Johnson and Sammy Siani each had two hits and Jase Bowen homered for Altoona.
The Curve will start a six-game home series against Akron tomorrow night.
