UPDATE: Michael Pucciarelli was ordered to serve seven months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and three years of probation for each count. The sentences will run concurrently.
WHAT WE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:
A Pittsburgh man is due in Indiana County Court today for sentencing hearings in two cases.
Court documents show 34-year-old Michael Pucciarelli pleaded guilty to felony counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and conspiracy to theft for an incident on August 30th of last year. Police said he and 31-year-old Rehny Little of Homestead stole a car from the White Township Walmart on Oakland Avenue and lead police on a chase that ended in Plumcreek Township as troopers used two vehicles to pin them against a guiderail. Little is awaiting a criminal call hearing on April 4th. He is charged theft, conspiracy to theft and a summary vehicle charge.
In another case reported the next day, Pucciarelli pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Also on the court docket today is the sentencing hearing for Joshua Stumpf, who pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver for an incident on May 24th of 2022.
