A pedestrian hit last Tuesday by a truck on Philadelphia Street in Indiana died Saturday in the intensive care unit of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, according to Cambria County coroner Jeff Lees.
Loretta Reeger, 68, and her husband John Forest Reeger of Clarksburg, were struck by an APG Supply and Contractingbox truck at 9:18 a.m. on March 11th, while they were crossing a crosswalk at the intersection of Philadelphia Street and 9th Street. John Reeger was treated on-scene and taken to IRMC by Citizens’ Ambulance EMTs, where he succumbed to his injuries at 10:13 a.m.
Indiana Borough police are investigating the crash. At this time, charges have not been announced against the driver of the truck.
