In high school baseball Friday, Northern Cambria scored 5 runs in the 5th and 5 more in the 6th to beat Homer-Center, 11-9. Caleb Dolney had three hits and two RBIs for the Colts and Ben Messina and Nathan Fry each had two hits. For the Wildcats, six players each had one hit and Collin Dunn and Drew Fisher both drove in two runs.
Turning to softball, West Shamokin fell to Armstrong, 15-4. Armstrong scored 11 consecutive runs during the game. Leah Mondi was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI.
