Penns Manor’s girls face off with tough District 9 champion Redbank Valley tonight in the PIAA AA quarterfinals, and the Comets will have to contend with the Bulldogs’ offense led by 2,000-point scorer Mylee Harmon and Addy Bond. The 5-6 Harmon is a Youngstown State commit averaging 23 points per game. Bond is a junior averaging 15.2.

Penns Manor comes into the game with a 24-5 record and off a 52-29 win over WPIAL champion Aliquippa. The Comets beat Wilmington, 65-51, in the first round. Redbank Valley is 22-6 and beat South Side, 58-31, in the second round after a 76-55 victory over Rochester in the first round.
The game is the nightcap of a doubleheader, with Bishop McCort taking on Kennedy Catholic in the first game. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Penns Manor/Redbank Valley game.
