It was a busy day yesterday at the Steelers’ offices at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, with the Steelers coming to contract agreements to bring quarterback Mason Rudolph back to the organization, along with wide receivers Ben Skowronek and Scotty Miller.
The team also held introductory media events with recently-acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf and free agent signees Darius Slay, Kenneth Gainwell, Brandin Echols, and Malik Harrison.
The Steelers still have not signed a starting quarterback, although Rudolph is good insurance. Metcalf says the unsettled quarterback situation does not bother him.
Cornerback Darius Slay says the chance to play for Mike Tomlin was too good to pass up.
The Steelers yesterday hosted former 49er Kyle Juszczyk, a nine-time Pro Bowl fullback, for a free agent visit.
