William Roland Henry, 61 of Indiana, died at his home on Friday, February 28, 2025. Born in Indiana on February 2, 1964, he was a son of the late Ronald James Henry and Mary Patricia (Romani) Henry. He dearly loved and cared for his mother until her death on March 3, 2018.
Bill was a 1983 graduate of Indiana Area High School. He’s remembered by friends and co-workers who knew him from his various jobs that he held throughout his working career, all of which were in the Indiana area. He had previously worked at: The former Penzoil Gas Station, Bi-Lo Supermarket, Specialty Tire, Dave’s Autobody in East Pike, and Community Living & Learning. He also worked at Schroth Lumber and at K&K Products.
He enjoyed military history, especially from World War II. Bill was a gun enthusiast and member of the NRA. His pride and joy was his 1979 Chevy Camero Z28.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Justine Potts and Courtney Henry, both of Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Brock McGinnis in 1977 and by an infant brother who passed in 1957.
Bill was cremated and his family will celebrate his life during a graveside memorial service on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
