The Penguins lug a four-game losing streak into tonight’s game against Philadelphia at PPG Paints Arena, and two of those four losses have been to the Flyers, including a 6-1 beatdown in Philly on Tuesday.
Coach Mike Sullivan says they are going to keep playing hard no matter where they are in the standings (which right now is next-to-last in the Eastern Conference.)
Yesterday, the Pens put forward Matt Nieto on waivers. If he goes unclaimed by 2 o’clock this afternoon, he can be sent down to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
On the ice in Cranberry, injured forward Boko Imama was a full-contact participant. Forward Michael Bunting was out due to illness.
The pregame airs on 92.5 FM U92 tonight, with faceoff shortly after 7.
