One person was hurt this morning in a crash in Center Township.
Indiana county sent State Police, the Homer City Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance to Jacksonville Road east of Old Route 56 West at 12:13 this morning. Troopers say that 53-year-old Donald Newman of Johnstown failed to negotiate a left curve in the road, hit a guide rail on the eastern berm, then went into a nearby creek.
Newman had possible injuries and was taken to IRMC by Ciizens’ Ambulance for treatment. The Honda Pilot he was driving was disabled and had to be towed.
