The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed to Ireland next year to play their first overseas game, since 2013.
The team has deep ties to The Emerald Isle, as the Rooneys are of Irish heritage and former team president Dan Rooney was the ambassador to Ireland from 2009 to 2012. The game will be played at Croke Park.
The Steelers will be the designated “home team”. No word yet on their opponents.
