Needing help in right field, the Pirates signed veteran Tommy Pham to a one-year deal worth $4 million Thursday morning.
Pham played for three teams last season, splitting time with the White Sox, Cardinals and Royals, hitting a combined .248 with nine home runs and 39 RBI. Pham played all outfield positions last year, allowing no errors in all 37 games played.
Pham will likely play right field for Pittsburgh, with Bryan Reynolds in left and Oneil Cruz in center.
