A man charged with leading police on a chase during IUPatty’s Weekend last year is due to be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
35-year-old Bradon Rosenberger, who police said was from Florida but also has an Avonmore address in court documents, pleaded guilty in November of last year to charges of DUI and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for the incident on March 22nd. State police said a trooper on IUPatty’s detail on Philadelphia Street saw a red Pontiac Sedan speed directly in front of him.
Police tried to pull him over but he continued to flee, leading police on a brief chase that ended when he pulled over on Church Street. He got out and tried to flee on foot but was subdued when police deployed their tasers. At the time, police said that he was high on meth and was awake for five days.
