Steelers center Zach Frazier has been named to the Professional Football Writers of America All-NFL Rookie Team. Frazier took over as the starting center when veteran Nate Herbig suffered a season-ending injury before Week One. He started all but two games, missing those two due to an ankle injury.
Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels was named rookie of the year and Rams defensive lineman Jared Verse is the writers’ choice as defensive rookie of the year.
The Steelers yesterday announced the signing of cornerback Cameron McCutcheon to a reserve/futures contract. He was with the Rams two seasons ago and tried out with the Steelers this past season but was not signed.
