Pitt coach Jeff Capel’s struggling Panthers have lost four games in a row, including Saturday’s overtime loss to Clemson. Pitt is off until Saturday, when they visit Syracuse.
Capel says everyone in the program knows navigating the ACC is not easy.
Pitt is 12-6 overall and 3-4 in the ACC. Syracuse is 9-9 and is also 3-4 in the conference after overcoming a 17-point first-half deficit and beating Notre Dame on Saturday, 77-69.
