BOYS BASKETBALL
The Indiana boys fell to 5-8, 2-4 in the Section as they lost a tight one to Plum, 71-68 at Fifth Street Gym. Max Grice scored 23 points for the Mustangs and Will Becker had 17. For Indiana, Dom Kowchuck scored 19, Aaron Webb 17, and Darius Webb 11.

Braydn Rodgers was unstoppable as United and West Shamokin went down to the wire, with the Wolves’ Rodgers hitting a turnaround jumper in the lane with four seconds left to win it, 63-62. Rodgers scored 11 points in the first quarter, had 15 at the half, then put up 14 in the third and 12 in the fourth to finish with 41 points. No other Wolves’ player had more than six. Carter Payne and Ryan Felix each put up 19 for the Lions.
Three Marion Center players scored in double figures as the Stingers clipped Cambria Heights, 52-49. Noah McCoy scored 14 points, Cameron Pack 13, and Ian Kutsch added 12 for Marion Center.
Conemaugh Valley jumped on Homer-Center with a 30-point first quarter and never let up, scoring 19 more in the second quarter to take a 49-22 lead into the half and cruising home with a 60-34 win over the Wildcats. Jeremy Dietz led the way for the Blue Jays with 22 points. Jaylen Henry added 16 and Lance Masser had 11. Max Voyda scored 13 to lead Homer-Center, which played again without the injured Angelo Alexander.
Northern Cambria routed Purchase Line, 61-25.
Conemaugh Township blasted Penns Manor, 78-28.
WRESTLING
United pinned Marion Center, 50-24. Winners on the mat for the Lions were Gideon Torres by technical fall, Colton Henning, Gideon Bracken, Josef Garshnick, Noah Pisarcik, Dylan Stephens, all by fall; and Sawyer McGinnis by decision. Griffin Tinsman won his match by fall for Marion Center.
RIFLE
Indiana lost to Butler, 798-61x to 788-44x. Top shooters for Indiana were Gavin Dicken with a 100-8x. Emelia Campisano with a 100-7x and Brennan McMasters with a 100-4x.
Indiana also lost the JV match, 397-21x to 377-10x. Indiana’s top shooter was Wiley Campbell with a 98-3x.
