Indiana County’s District Courts will be busy with preliminary hearings today, including one for a man charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault.
This marks the second attempt for a preliminary hearing for 38-year-old Shane Allen Plummer of Johnstown. He is charged in connection with an investigation into incidents between 2013 and 2019. State police said that he sexually abused the victim, who was five when the assaults started, at a home in Brush Valley Township on as many as 20 occasions.
Also due in court today are:
- Joseph Thomas Woodley, Jr. of Indiana. The 41-year-old faces charges of obstructing law enforcement officials and resisting arrest for an incident on December 13th of last year.
- 20-year-old Rayvonn Denton of Pittsburgh, who faces charges of prohibited possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, fleeing, flight to avoid apprehension, and six summary driving offenses for an incident on March 25th of 2023.
