Four teenagers are facing adult charges connected with a riot at a youth facility in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County over the weekend.
Charges of riot, aggravated assault, institutional vandalism, terroristic threats and risking or causing a catastrophe were filed against 15-year-olds Rockey Magar, Lamont Warren and Christian White along with 16-year-old Faizon Way, who were seen by state police as the ringleaders and most aggressive of the group. The incident started at 8:30 PM Saturday at the Outside In School of Experiential Learning when a juvenile insulted another resident of the facility. When staff tried to intervene, the students attacked the staffers. Some of the students made weapons out of pencils, spoons, wooden handles and used them to beat up the staff, with White and Way accused of threatening to kill a staffer.
