The White Township supervisors today selected a new leader for the board.
Rich Gallo was voted the new board president over Gail McCauley, while Sandi Gilette was named the board vice president. In remarks at the close of the reorganization meeting, Gallo said it is an honor to serve on the board over the last five years, and the township is seeing a lot of activity now.
The meeting schedule was also set with meetings on the second Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM and the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
During the regular meeting, Township Manager Chris Anderson did discuss two upcoming meeting dates for the county Emergency Authority concerning ambulance service. Anderson said that he submitted some questions to the leadership as to how the board will look and other issues before moving forward, but he hasn’t received any answers yet.
The meetings are scheduled for January 29th and 30th at 7:00 PM at Homer-Center High School.
