Center Township supervisors will meet tonight to hold their annual reorganization meeting, with their regular monthly meeting to follow.
During the reorganization meeting, the board will appoint a new chairman and vice-chairman and set the schedule of meetings for 2025. During the regular meeting that follows, one of the topics that will be addressed will be the County EMS authority. According to the agenda for tonight’s meeting, there will be two public meetings that will be held at the Homer-Center High School on January 29th and 30th at 7:00 PM. Another topic expected to be discussed will be the solar ordinance that the township is considering. They will discuss where people can pick up applications for permits to have solar arrays installed.
The meeting starts at 6:30 tonight at the Township Building on Neal Road.
White Township will also hold its reorganization meeting today at 1:00 PM at the township office. The supervisors’ regular meeting will follow.
