A winter weather advisory is over for most of Indiana County, but one area could still see some strong snowfall today.
A winter storm warning remains in effect for the southeast area of Indiana County until 10:00 this morning. Another inch of snow is expected before that time, on top of the snow that came yesterday. Roads in the area are expected to be slippery in the higher elevations. The National Weather Service is recommending against travelling, but if you have to go out, keep an extra flashlight, food and water as part of your vehicle’s emergency kit and drive carefully. They also advise a call to 511 or checking out the 511 website or app before you head out to get the latest road conditions.
More snow is expected today, but not as much as on Friday. Stay with your Hometown Radio Stations for the latest AccuWeather forecasts.
