The Pittsburgh Penguins took the defending Stanley Cup Champions to the limit in a tough shootout loss to the Panthers last night. Paul Steigerwald reports.
The roster also took a significant hit as recently-acquired Philip Tomasino left the game at the 4:56 mark of the second period. The team acknowledged an undisclosed injury but did not release any further details.
