Indiana County’s Courts have a light schedule on their first day of action in 2025.
One of the people due today for a motions hearing is 41-year-old Kenneth Alan Ashley, Jr. of Indiana, who is charged with Access Device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, identity theft and receiving stolen property for an incident on October 5th of last year. Indiana Borough Police say he stole a credit card while inside a business. His hearing will concern a bond reduction request. He has been in jail since his arrest on $10,000 bail.
Two non-jury trials and a bond revocation are also on the schedule for the county courts today.
At the district court level, preliminary hearings are scheduled for Margaret Robertson of Creekside and Brooke Cassidy of Castle Shannon, both of whom face multiple drug charges.
