2025 Indiana County Athena Awards

Renda Media has been a proud partner with the Colonial Motor Mart as the Co-Sponsors of the annual Indiana County Athena Award. The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate excellence in their professional field, provide valuable service to the greater Indiana County Community, and actively mentor and support women in leadership development.
FELICIA DANIEL
Felicia Daniel, assistant vice president and training and development manager at S&T Bank, is driven by a commitment to help others grow and succeed. Originally from Philadelphia, she began at S&T in 2021 as a recruitment lead and diversity specialist before moving into her current leadership training role. Her background includes degrees in human resources management and organizational leadership.
Daniel leads programs to strengthen communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. She helped create initiatives like People-Forward Service Training and Communication for Thriving Teams, designed to support employees’ growth and confidence. She also coaches new hires to foster belonging and engagement, contributing to the bank earning multiple workplace excellence awards.
Beyond her professional work, Daniel is deeply involved in community service. She previously served on the board of the Chevy Chase Community Center, supporting youth food programs, and volunteered with the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. In 2024, she began reading to elementary school students through the Indiana Area School District, sharing stories to inspire young learners.
Her leadership extends to cultural engagement, mentoring underrepresented students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and helping ensure their identities are respected and valued.
Daniel’s efforts earned her recognition as an ATHENA Award finalist, celebrating leadership, service, and the empowerment of others. She sees this honor as a reflection of collective impact, emphasizing generosity, inclusion, and lifelong learning. With her husband, she remains committed to continuous growth and helping others reach their potential.
