Accuweather says all of Pennsylvania will receive some inclement weather during the first days of the new year.
A storm traveling from the northern Plains to the Midwest and Northeast will bring snow squalls along with rain showers. Pennsylvania will likely experience heavy rainfall and thunderstorms between tonight and tomorrow morning, while New York, Indiana, and a sliver of Michigan will receive a mix of rain and snow.
Snow will start to roll in Wednesday afternoon with accumulation between one to six inches. Lake-effect snow will ramp up between Wednesday night and Friday.
Colder temperatures will also impact the area, dipping as low as the mid-20s.
