Three sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas.
One person will be sentenced for a guilty plea to a charge of making terroristic threats connected with a shooting at a house on Wayne Avenue during IUPatty’s in 2023. 21-year-old Donovan Sanders of Johnstown allegedly fired a shot into the ceiling as a fight was going on in the house. Other charges that were filed against him were not prosecuted.
Also due for a sentencing hearing today is John Reasinger of Shelocta, who faces 14 counts of forgery and a single count of unauthorized use of an access device for an investigation that took place in on January 23rd of 2021.
And 34-year-old Joseph Valenti of Indiana will be sentenced for a guilty plea of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver for an investigation that goes back to June of last year.
