TJ Watt says he will be on the field tomorrow when the Steelers play the Ravens in Baltimore. Watt didn’t say much about his injured ankle, except that it feels good enough for now and with a short week to prepare for the game, he really hasn’t had to test it.
Wide receiver George Pickens will miss his third straight game with a hamstring injury. Safety DeShon Elliott was a limited practice participant and is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. Cornerback Donte Jackson and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi are both questionable. Jackson has a sore back and Ogunjobi a groin injury.
Watt says every game is important, but a Ravens game in late December has a little extra spice.
Fellow edge rusher Alex Highsmith is also recently back from an ankle sprain and is getting ready for another long night chasing the Ravens’ elusive Lamar Jackson.
The airtime for the Steelers and Ravens on WDAD tomorrow is 2:30. Kickoff is at 4:30.
Last night, the Chargers erased an 11-ppint deficit and beat the Broncos, 34-27, to kick off NFL Week Fifteen.
