State police are investigating an accidental gunshot at the Purchase Line Elementary School.
Troopers were called out at 9:13 this morning to the school on Route 286 East in Green Township as a school security guard accidentally fired a round while in the faculty room. The bullet hit a refrigerator in the room. No injuries were reported, and the incident did not change the school day for students. The district will continue to follow its normal schedule for today.
