Negotiations are continuing between the Penns Manor School Board and the union representing the support professionals.
Superintendent Daren Johnston said that they just had a negotiation session and they have another session tentatively scheduled for February. He added that negotiations are going well.
During last night’s meeting, the board approved the Act 1 resolution, setting the upper limit for any tax increases in the 2025-26 budget at 5.9%. The board also approved a five-year contract for Superintendent Johnston that will start in January of 2025.
