State police arrested an Indiana man for stealing an electric bicycle in late November along the Hoodlebug Trail.
25-year-old Michael McCracken is charged with theft by unlawful taking for the incident on November 25th. Troopers were called out at 2:15 PM to a portion of the trail in White Township after woman said that her electric bicycle was stolen after parking it. Troopers say that McCracken came across the bike and made off with it. Indiana Sheriff’s Deputies were also called out and they found McCracken still in possession of the bike.
McCracken is free after his arraignment hearing the same day on $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for December 19th.
