Pitt was left off college football’s Top 25 rankings this week after suffering their second loss of the season to Virginia on Saturday. They have one more chance to make up for it when they host No. 17 Clemson at Acrisure Stadium this Saturday.
Coach Pat Narduzzi said the Panthers did everything they could to “shoot themselves in the foot,” against Virginia.
Saturday’s game kicks off at noon on WCCS.
IUP FOOTBALL
IUP gets back to work today after having the last week off due to their bye week. The Crimson Hawks will wrap up the regular season this Saturday against the Shippensburg Raiders at George P. Miller Stadium.
IUP is 6-3 overall and 3-3 in the PSAC. Last time out, they took down Gannon, 35-7, on Nov. 2. The Raiders are 2-8 overall, 1-6 in the conference and have lost four straight games. Their most recent loss coming this past Saturday to Lock Haven, 42-21.
