Russell Wilson still was taking snaps with the Steelers first team on Friday, and it is all but certain that he will start at QB this Sunday night, even though coach Mike Tomlin has not confirmed it. He did say that Wilson looked sharp on Friday during practice.
As far as injuries go for the Steelers, center Zach Frazier and linebacker Nick Herbig have been ruled out, along with running back Cordarrelle Patterson. In addition, receiver Roman Wilson and defensive tackle Montravius Adams are questionable. Alex Highsmith is back in action with no injury designation and is expected to play tomorrow. Meanwhile for the Jets, Cornerback Michael Carter II is out with a back injury. Tight end Tyler Conklin, Corner Back D.J. Reed, and Linebacker Chaz Surratt are all questionable.
You can hear the Steelers play the Jets Sunday night starting at 6:00 on WDAD FM 100.3 AND AM 1450
